Dietmar Grichnik is a leading researcher in the field of entrepreneurship, innovation and financing. He is Director of the Institute of Technology Management and holds the Chair of Entrepreneurship at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Switzerland. He has extensive academic experience, including roles at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management, Germany, and as a visiting researcher globally. Recognized as a top entrepreneurship professor, he has authored over 200 articles and books. Dietmar also supports start-ups in the USA and Europe and is dedicated to sports and longevity.
Manuel, Professor of Entrepreneurial Finance at Grenoble Ecole de Management, France, and former Assistant Professor at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, combines academia and entrepreneurship, having participated in two IPOs. His research, centered on entrepreneurial finance and startup governance, incorporates hundres of interviews with entrepreneurs and investors. At the Hanken School of Economics, Finland, he's a visiting researcher. Leading the St. Gallen Startup Navigator Lab, Manuel has developed digital tools for startups and co-authored the St.Gallen Startup NavigatorTM and the Corporate Venturing Navigator.
Diego is Project Manager Business Promotion in Appenzell Ausserrhoden (Switzerland) and was Managing Director at the Center for Entrepreneurship of the University of St.Gallen for nine years, responsible for Startup@HSG – the Incubation Program of the University. Prior to joining Startup@HSG, he held leading positions at the “Institut für Jungunternehmen (IFJ)” for the initiatives venturelab and venture kick. He has been active in the startup business for over 10 years. With his experience, he coaches student entrepreneurs and is involved in executive teaching.
Torben is the co-founder of RightNow Group, an award-winning LegalTech startup, that has been recognized by Financial Times as one of the fastest-growing companies in Europe in 2021 and 2022. In 2020, he was named 30 under 30 by Forbes Magazine. Torben received his PhD from the University of St.Gallen. His research focuses on the application of artificial intelligence in venture capital. He teaches entrepreneurial finance at the University of St.Gallen.
